This is a short summary of Erin Elizabeth Longgood, who designed the costumes for this years Aladdin performance (with a lot of helpful input). This is the first time Erin has been in charge of costumes for an entire play, although with such an extensive closet she has dressed many in various fashion for years because she loves to play with image. Erin has been involved with performing for many years, mostly the younger years, mostly dancing, although she thoroughly enjoys acting and randomly does it and has been doing it for years as a sort of experiment. The experiment would involve inventing a personality in the middle of a regular day and going somewhere and tricking everyone into thinking you were really this person and seeing how different the world seemed or reacted. The past three years were filled with living in Italy (1yr.) and upon returning to the USA she worked in a hospital (2yr.) for children with disablities. Erin enjoys playgrounds (mainly the swings), flowers(and other natural beauty), various music, chagall paintings, unexpected interesting things, relating strongly to people, occasionally touring the newport mansions and hearing riveting stories. Her favorite book is The Itiot by Dostoyevski although she has not read it for a few years, it made her feel more than any book has since which is why it is the favorite. She lives down a dirt road in the center of a large forest in the middle of an orchard. It has been compared to a fairy tale house, which is not quite accurate but Erin is very interested in fairy tales. She hopes one day to be a painter/writer (or anything that feels true & creative) all of the time.
